Job Description Summary of Position This position serves as the clinical lead for Centerstone’s Outpatient and CORe (Coordinated Opioid Recovery) programs. The role involves providing individual and group counseling to adults and children experiencing mental health and substance use disorders, as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties Deliver therapeutic services in individual and group settings. Document client progress accurately and thoroughly. Collaborate with internal team members and external community partners to ensure coordinated care. Engage with local stakeholders to support comprehensive, community‑based treatment. Provide services in various settings, including clients’ homes, hospitals, offices, schools, or workplaces. Provide crisis intervention services in the community. Develop, implement, evaluate, and update treatment plans with client and family input. Conduct clinical behavioral health assessments. Enter written documentation into the Electronic Medical Record in a timely manner for all services rendered. Provide supportive and educational counseling services (individual, family, and group) to develop daily living and coping skills. Assist clients with developing natural support systems and link them to additional services as needed. Maintain 100% compliance with required agency trainings. Maintain departmental productivity expectations and complete additional training or certification as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in‑person, and virtual methods. Develop supportive relationships with persons facing legal, mental health, substance use, and co‑occurring issues while maintaining therapeutic boundaries. Possess knowledge of mental illness and recovery and collaborate with community partners. Knowledge of community resources or ability to learn quickly. Experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use concerns and enthusiasm to influence positive change. Understand populations affected by mental illness, network among diverse agencies, and plan and manage personnel effectively. Qualifications Master’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree may be accepted in lieu of a master’s degree if four years’ professional experience in substance abuse or mental health setting is demonstrated. Required licensure: LCSW, LPC‑MHSP, LMFT‑MHSP, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed School Psychologist. Valid Florida driver’s license. Experience with mental health and/or co‑occurring issues.
