Assembler, 1st Shift

Branch Medical Group, a Globus Medical subsidiary, seeks an Assembler to inspect and assemble small machined components for spinal and orthopedic implants. The role involves deburring, cleaning, and polishing medical device parts using various hand and pneumatic tools, with advancement opportunities based on product complexity and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect machined components using stereo-microscope and illumination devices
• Deburr, clean, and polish medical device parts using hand tools and pneumatic equipment
• Assemble sub-components into finished assemblies following established procedures
• Complete quality documentation and inspection sheets accurately
• Escalate issues to Assembly Supervisor and adhere to GMP and Lean Management practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, power supplies, and tooling equipment
• Familiarity with GMP environment and ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines under pressure
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
