We are looking for motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Car Wash General Managers to lead our locations.

As a Car Wash General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, team performance, customer experience, sales, and overall success of your location. You'll lead a team, develop future leaders, drive membership growth, maintain operational standards, and ensure your location delivers a safe, clean, and exceptional experience for every guest.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys leading people, driving results, solving problems, and taking ownership of a business.

Previous car wash experience is not required. Leadership and management experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, sales, automotive, customer service, or other fast-paced industries can translate well to this role.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Team Members, Team Leads, and Assistant Managers.
• Create a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain talented team members.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to company standards.
• Identify and develop high‑potential employees for future leadership opportunities.
• Conduct coaching, performance conversations, and recognition as needed.
• Lead by example in customer service, sales, professionalism, and work ethic.

Sales & Membership Growth

• Drive sales, membership, and customer retention at your location.
• Lead the team in achieving membership and revenue goals.
• Coach team members on effective sales and customer engagement techniques.
• Monitor sales and membership performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build relationships with guests and promote a positive customer experience.
• Help grow the location's customer base through exceptional service and local engagement.

Daily Operations

• Oversee the daily operations of an express car wash location.
• Ensure the location operates safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
• Monitor wash quality and ensure guests receive a consistent, high‑quality experience.
• Ensure the site is clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment needs.
• Partner with maintenance and support teams to address equipment and facility issues.

Guest Experience

• Set the standard for exceptional customer service and guest service.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and work to resolve issues professionally.
• Build strong relationships with guests and the local community.
• Ensure team members consistently provide friendly, professional, and efficient service.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the overall guest experience.

Business Performance

• Review location performance and key business metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, membership growth, labor efficiency, and customer retention.
• Manage labor and operating expenses within company expectations.
• Communicate location performance, opportunities, and challenges to leadership.
• Use company software, point‑of‑sale systems, and other technology to manage and monitor the business.
• Take ownership of the overall performance and success of the location.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous General Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, Restaurant Manager, Retail Manager, or similar leadership experience — preferred.
• Has experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.
• Is comfortable setting expectations and holding others accountable.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is comfortable with sales, membership growth, and performance goals.
• Has strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Takes ownership and follows through on commitments.
• Has strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Is comfortable using computers, point‑of‑sale systems, and business software.
• Is willing to learn car wash equipment, operations, and maintenance.
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional location.
• Can work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Has previous experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, sales, automotive, customer service, or other high‑volume customer‑facing industries — preferred but not required.
