This position centers on delivering healthcare services to a vibrant K-8 student body of approximately 500. Key Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Illinois required
• Experience as a school nurse or similar setting essential
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators and staff
• Exceptional communication and assessment skills
• Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent health needs
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to students, including first aid, chronic illness management, and medication administration
• Maintain and update student health records in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ health plans
• Implement preventive health measures such as screenings and health education
• Respond to urgent medical situations calmly and efficiently
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment for all students and staff
