What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology while adhering to established laboratory protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Accurately document all laboratory procedures, provide training to new team members or students, and help maintain the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a relevant allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Expectations

• Obtaining the ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire is required.
• Consistent maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure.
