A well-established Food Distribution Company in Oakland is seeking a 3rd shift warehouse lead. Full time, temp to hire employment opportunities available.

Pay Rate: $35/ hr

Schedule: Sun-Thurs, 8pm to 5am (10 hour shifts)

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

Managing warehouse operations Sunday through Thursday, inventory control and planning the use of resources such as labor, time and materials.

Inventory Management - counting boxes quickly and accurately, regular rotation of product inventory (FIFO), perform regular cycle counts, etc.

Order selecting - scanning completed orders

Load and Unloading trailers - using Forklift and electric Pallet Jacks

Training, managing and motivating warehouse staff

Communication - ability to professionally communicate verbally and electronically with other staff.

Maintaining equipment maintenance records

Job Requirements:

5 + years of warehouse operation experience - required.

• Valid California Driver's license - required.

The ability to watch product rotation, equipment maintenance, employee performance and many other things on the dock.

The ability to safely lift 40lbs or more, unload and load containers, perform cycle counts in freezer and cooler.

The ability to adapt to the company's computer system and work with the inventory control department daily.

Forklift Certified - Standup forklift, electric rider pallet jacks

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc

Excellent math skills - the ability to count boxes quickly and accurately.
