Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $158,500 - 191,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for proven technical leadership or strong capability in shaping architecture and mentoring other engineers.
• We want hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform and/or Pulumi.
• We expect practical knowledge of enterprise CI/CD systems, particularly Jenkins pipelines and Spinnaker deployments.
• We require deep expertise in Linux operating systems and low-level performance troubleshooting.
• We value strong scripting and automation skills with Python and Bash.
• We need solid experience with AWS services, especially EC2, load balancers, and AMI creation, plus working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
• We look for advanced experience with Docker and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• We want experience administering and scaling observability and logging tools such as Vector, Datadog, and Splunk.
• We prefer a security-first mindset, especially in regulated or card payment environments.
• We value strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication.
• Kubernetes-native experience with EKS or GKE is a plus.

• We help define technical direction and introduce modern platform engineering approaches.
• We mentor and coach mid-level and junior engineers, while reviewing code and architecture.
• We design, maintain, and modernize infrastructure as code across multiple cloud environments.
• We own and optimize high-throughput CI/CD pipelines across AWS and GCP using Jenkins and Spinnaker.
• We harden and standardize our card payment infrastructure to support security and compliance.
• We manage the automated lifecycle for AWS AMIs and Docker images.
• We troubleshoot and tune mission-critical systems using deep Linux internals knowledge.
• We scale our enterprise logging and observability platforms, including dashboards and alerting.
• We participate in on-call coverage, lead incident response, and drive postmortems and automation to reduce operational toil.
