About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician (MD) – FSED, Corpus Christi Area

Rhino Medical is leading the charge with an immediate need for an Emergency Medicine Physician with at least 2 years of ED experience, holding an MD license in Texas. The role is based in multiple fast-paced, high-acuity urgent and emergency care settings within the Corpus Christi area, with shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. No call responsibilities, short onboarding, and an approximate 1-year assignment.

Provide emergency medical care including intubations, central line placement, ultrasound, OB deliveries, dislocation reductions, chest tubes, trauma management, and laceration repair across multiple sites. Support high-acuity cases involving trauma, stroke, STEMI, and OB. Support staff includes APP coverage; no inpatient follow-up is typically required, feedback provided as needed.

Schedule & Coverage
Shifts: 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., with single-physician coverage at each site. No call responsibilities. SOn-site coverage; APP support varies by site (ranging from 9 to 24 hours daily). No specific start date, preference for ASAP; duration approximately 1 year.

Requirements

• Active Texas MD license
• DEA registration
• Certifications: ABEM (preferred for Bay Area, Main), or ABFM/ABIM with ER experience for FSEDs and ambulatory
• Case logs required; no credentialing timelines or travel specifics provided
• No inpatient privileges needed
