We recognize the importance of flexibility; while our core work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, some variation may be necessary based on client availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Forward Steps Psychotherapy, you will:

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments, employing solution-focused interventions to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to facilitate effective mental health care.

• Consistently document patient encounters and maintain accurate, confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team environment, including regular interactions with psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer therapists for comprehensive patient care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions and peer consultation meetings to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, fostering a deeper understanding and encouraging active participation in the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• An active license in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
