This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility for both you and our clients. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring convenient access to mental health support. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments remotely to tailor individualized treatment plans for clients.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, drawing from a repertoire of practices suited to diverse cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on an array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to ensure holistic care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies and support for clients in acute mental health situations, demonstrating poise under pressure.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment modalities, and community resources to foster informed decision-making.
\n
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Actively participate in case conferences, team discussions, and ongoing professional development to enhance cultural competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, focusing on individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds, including historically underserved populations. Your expertise in cultural sensitivity will enhance treatment efficacy and promote resilience among the patients you serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient records.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Demonstrated ability in crisis management and intervention strategies.
\n
• Prior experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and multicultural communities is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
