EDD/AML Consultant

Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers, including individuals, legal entities, money service businesses (MSBs and politically exposed persons (PEPs). Review customer profiles, ownership structures, source of funds, source of wealth, and beneficial ownership documentation to assess financial crime risk. Perform ongoing customer due diligence (CDD) and periodic customer reviews. Review and clear transaction monitoring alerts in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Investigate unusual or potentially suspicious activity by analyzing transactional behavior, customer information, and supporting documentation. Escalate complex or high-risk cases to management, Compliance, or Financial Intelligence Units, as appropriate. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported investigative case summaries documenting findings and recommendations. Partner with Compliance, AML Operations, KYC, Fraud, and business stakeholders to resolve customer and transaction-related issues. Assist with AML remediation, look-back reviews, regulatory examinations, and consent order initiatives as needed. Maintain accurate case documentation while meeting established productivity and quality expectations. Stay current on evolving BSA/AML regulations, OFAC sanctions requirements, and financial crime trends. Support the preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when required; prior SAR writing experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison-Davis, LLC
