Opportunity: Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - General Surgery, Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery

Job Details: Trauma Surgery APP position covering inpatient shifts

Shift times are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM depending on open shift - must be available for either

Coverage required for two weeks per month with 7-14 shifts required

Guaranteed 12 hours per day

Specific shift coverage needed for January 2027: January 4 through January 10 - Trauma II (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) January 18 through January 24 - Trauma II (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)

Join an established surgical team as a Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Clinician

Must be comfortable consulting on pediatric surgery cases, including involvement in HMP or endoscopic appendectomy procedures

Pediatric case load is less than 20 cases per month, but comfort and competency with pediatric cases is required

Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift

Active license or IMLC required

DEA required

Board certification required

ACLS and ATLS certifications required

Level 2 Trauma facility with Level 3 Pediatric Trauma designation
