Anesthesiologist (Locum Tenens)

Schedule: Days 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; 24 hour call coverage (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) while working; rotation noted as 5 weeks on and 2 weeks off
Call response time: 20 minutes
Setting: Hospital based coverage (medical direction as needed)
EMR: Epic
Travel and Lodging: Local only

Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage for a mix of OR and procedural cases and support call coverage needs.

Clinical Scope (examples noted)

• Endoscopy
• OB and GYN
• Pediatrics
• General surgery
• Orthopedics

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana medical license.
• Proficiency with spinals, blocks, and epidurals.
• Case logs required, including proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks.
• Certifications listed include ACLS and ATLS.
