ABOUT THIS ROLE The Credit Analyst is a key member of our financial team, playing a critical role in assessing and managing the creditworthiness of potential agents. This position is primarily responsible for conducting and coordinating the comprehensive underwriting process required for agent onboarding, ensuring a thorough evaluation from both credit and risk management perspectives. The Credit Analyst will work closely with various departments, including Finance Operations (Accounts Receivable, Back Office) and Sales, to facilitate seamless and efficient onboarding processes. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze, understand and interpret data from the different reports used for the credit analysis of each agent.
• Review and approve Credit lines for agents based on their credit profiles.
• Escalate issues or potential risks as identified.
• Manage models in Excel to monitor credit line depletion and address this proactively for Agents.
• Download production reports and refresh excel models to identify which Agencies have depleted their credit lines.
• Assess the risk associated with providing temporary credit line increases to allow for increased production and make proactive decisions when the increase is warranted under the approved parameters established by the Credit department.
• Identify needs for permanent credit line adjustments.
• Manage the Check cashing process exceptions related to credit department.
• Monitor payments rating changes are made to Agents and ensure that the credit lines are adequately approved based on those ratings.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Manage multiple tasks
• Work autonomously in a creative and dynamic environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Interact effectively and tactfully with all levels of management
• Strong problem solver
• Demonstrates initiative
• Prior experience with credit underwriting a plus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Fields of interest include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Licenses or Certificates preferred

Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this ( Salary Exempt or Non-exempt hourly rate)role ranges from ($9,600USD to $12,000USD).
