The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our Real Estate, Facilities & Security team in our New York, NY location.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:WPX Facilities Operations – manage and support facilities and construction management, building operations, maintenance, mailroom, and reception teamWorkplace Strategy – Support and implement evolving workplace experience strategies.Special Events – Support Events/experiential team on managing the approved special events calendar, supporting all corporate and employee events & hospitality/branding programs, assisting with internal logistics and vendors as needed throughout the AMC portfolioResponsible for managing and delivering day-to-day facilities functions and implementing standardized policies and safety procedures, with a focus primarily on the NY based locationsManage and directly or indirectly lead a highly driven group of facilities staff; Utilize a proactive approach with emphasis on attention to detail at all levels of building operations.Deliver established building readiness processes and procedures, ensuring all workspaces, conference rooms, pantries, event spaces, studios, are occupant readyEstablish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractorsWorking closely with WPX team and vendors, maintaining operations of building systems equipment; ensure routine preventative maintenance. *Ensure KPI tracking and reporting are current and accurate.Directly manage, support, and supervise all facility-related items (engineering/maintenance trades, janitorial, property issues, etc.) for studios, production offices, and main buildings.Work with the WPX leadership in the supervision, training, and development of the facilities staff - receptionists, maintenance, and mailroom - at the office location including performance, scheduling, support, and guidance as needed.Work with building management where needed to ensure all aspects of building services, to include services related to engineering, parking, landscaping, janitorial, etc. are accurate and timely. *Ensure team is performing regular walkthrough of all AMC spaces to ensure all standards are metReview, code, and approve all department related invoices.Participate in project meetings as well as monitor the construction progress and ensure timely completion of punch list items.Work closely with the VP-Real Estate, Facilities & Security to oversee WPX functions to ensure they are regularly maintained and updated.Work WPX leaders HR and department heads in assigning workspace and developing plans to accommodate various groups.Work with businesses/stakeholders on day-to-day space management and active projects.Work with the access card system and support other security functions as needed.Ensure that ServiceNow requests are logged and completed in a timely manner.Review ServiceNow log for quality control and auditing purposes.Work with VP-Real Estate, Facilities & Security on Initiation and review of new contracts and RFP’s as necessary.Inventory and purchase office furniture and supplies.Identify and manage all liquidation post projects and on a regular basisDelivery of facilities specific procedures and processes associated with broader Workplace Experience functions, including but not limited to supporting the scheduling, planning, and project delivery at each facility in your area of responsibility.Support leadership’s financial planning and management in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of spend.Track facilities data and spending to develop and propose recommendations to Facilities leadership to improve process, reduce costs, enhance employee productivity, and maximize best-in-class serviceProvide support on projects within the region to internal/external project manager to ensure projects are within project budget, timeline, and quality standardsUnderstand individual division business drivers and needs and apply that knowledge to service deliveryEstablish and leverage relationships with external trade partners, i.e., vendors, contractors, and consultants.QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)Computer skills: word, excel, power point, AutoCAD is a plusKnowledge of/Experience with ServiceNow and Space IQ/Eptura software a plusExcellent oral and written skills; able to work with senior management.Good follow-up and organizational skillsFlexible work scheduleAble to juggle multiple projects at one time and prioritizeMinimum two years of college education or comparable trade certification or training.5-8 years of facilities management and/or building engineering experienceFamiliarity with assisting in building procedures, management, and codes.Ability to multitask; prioritize; be able to work as a team player.You are independent, proactive, flexible, with the ability to collaborate across functions.Project management experienceHospitality experience a plusExperience in the entertainment industry a plusThe base compensation for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 commensurate with experience.
