SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Oversee the expense activity of the ministry. Responsible for the daily processing and oversight of all payables for the ministry. Coordinate efforts with the Director of Finance to ensure functional operations in the finance department of the ministry. Maintain a high level of personal and professional competence in expense accounting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general office functions:copying,scanning,organizing files, data entry
• Participate in special projects and other duties as requested

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mature Christian, ministry minded with a heart for the homeless, addicted and mentally ill. 
• Excellent planning,analyses, prioritizing, decision-making, and implementation skills. 
• Exercise judgment that is consistent with the LMI mission statement, vision statement, core values, and four pathways to progress.  
• High initiative, proactively seeking continuous improvement, actively engaging in problem solving. 
• Able to appropriately handle sensitive information andmaintainrequired confidentiality. 
• Strong administrative and organizational skills. 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office programs. 
• Working knowledge ofaccounting software 
• Ability toutilizethe internet for research. 
• Good oral and written communication skills: strong technical and report writing skills, able to interact well with others, provide training, and impart information. 
• High levelof courtesy and phone communication skills. 
• Ability to work with minimal supervision. 
• Detail oriented and precise; able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously witha very highdegree of accuracy.
