Service Advisor

Turf Star Western (TSW) is seeking a detail‑oriented Service Advisor to serve as a critical liaison between our business‑to‑business customers and our service operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on communication, organization, and accuracy while supporting a fast‑paced service environment. Why Join Turf Star Western Competitive pay: $26–$32 per hour (based on qualifications and experience) Full‑time, stable position with growth opportunity Comprehensive benefits through Insperity PEO , including: Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Disability, accident, and critical illness insurance Employee Assistance Program and marketplace discounts/perks 401(k) with automatic enrollment after eligibility requirements Paid Time Off: Earned each pay period (starting at 8 hours per month) 9 paid holidays per year Employee purchase program with product discounts Semi‑monthly pay schedule What You’ll Do Act as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, parts, and management Answer incoming customer calls and conduct detailed interviews to understand service needs Create, schedule, and manage work orders accurately and efficiently Coordinate technician scheduling and ensure required parts and resources are availableCommunicate with warranty vendors and manage all associated documentation and follow‑up Work closely with the Field Service Manager to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery Represent Turf Star Western professionally and ethically in all communications What We’re Looking For Authorized to work in the U.S. and residing within 45 miles of the TSW facility in Rancho Cordova, CA Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience Background in customer service, automotive service, or similar service‑based roles Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) Experience with work order systems, inventory management, or purchasing platforms Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑up skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Preferred (not required): Small engine or mechanical knowledge Sales or service advisor experience Commercial turf, lawn, or construction equipment familiarity Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office‑based role with prolonged computer and phone use Regular verbal communication via phone and in person Occasional movement throughout facility for meetings or coordination Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., boxes of paper) About Turf Star Western Turf Star Western services and sells The Toro Company’s commercial and residential turf, irrigation, construction, and landscape equipment throughout the western United States.
