Senior Director, Global Revenue Accounting and Order to Cash

Guardant Health seeks a Senior Director to lead global revenue accounting and order-to-cash operations across a precision oncology diagnostics company. The role combines technical expertise in revenue recognition and complex billing processes with oversight of a distributed team in a regulated, high-volume healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Own global revenue accounting policies and monthly/quarterly close processes across diagnostic testing and multi-year arrangements
- Lead complex contract reviews and revenue recognition analyses including performance obligations and variable consideration
- Maintain SOX controls over revenue and O2C functions and support quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Serve as process owner for billing, invoicing, cash application, receivables and collections with accountability for metrics
- Partner with commercial, payer relations and operations teams to address reimbursement changes, denials and underpayments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with active CPA license or equivalent
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience, including revenue accounting and O2C operations
- 5+ years of people management and team leadership experience
- Public-company accounting expertise with revenue close and SOX controls experience
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and IFRS 15 revenue standards
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or similar enterprise systems
- Healthcare or diagnostics industry background preferred
