ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1985 and currently lead a team of two. Before becoming an agent, I spent 18 years as a school teacher before being recruited into the insurance industry. My background in education helped shape my passion for helping others, building relationships, and guiding people through important decisions.

Im a graduate of Cornell University and also earned a library certification from Iowa State University, along with a masters degree in English. I am also a registered financial professional and hold professional insurance designations, allowing me to bring a broad range of knowledge and experience to the customers we serve.

Community involvement has always been important to me, and I enjoy supporting local events and staying active within the community.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Patricia J. Brown - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
