Empower young learners with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers both part-time and full-time schedules, accommodating professionals available between 2 to 5 days per week. As an itinerant SLP, you’ll provide services to pre-schools across several communities, including Upper Darby, Folcroft, Glenolden, Chester, Brookhaven, and Philadelphia.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative speech and language services to preschool-aged students
• Travel between multiple locations within the designated areas to support a diverse caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to create and implement personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with state and program requirements
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
• Eligible for or possession of state licensure as required
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
• Ability to adapt to various school environments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
