Vice President Human Resources

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead our organization's human capital initiatives for our 330 employees located in several states. This executive role is pivotal in shaping and executing comprehensive HR strategies that align with our business objectives, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human resources management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development, with a proven track record of supervising HR teams and driving organizational change. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing talent sourcing and management, managing employee relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all HR functions. This role offers the opportunity to influence company culture at the highest level while managing complex HR programs that support our growth and operational excellence. Duties Lead the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives, including organization design, succession planning, and workforce planning to support long-term business goals. Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruiting strategies, interviewing procedures, onboarding, and employee orientation programs to attract top talent. Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting misconduct investigations, and facilitating effective communication between staff and leadership. Ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity), and other relevant regulations. Administer benefits programs including payroll management, benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans using HR systems like Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors. Supervise HR sourcing activities, training & development initiatives, performance management systems, and employee evaluation processes to foster a high-performance culture. Oversee HR legal compliance management by handling contracts, confidentiality agreements, employee misconduct investigations, and process improvements. Utilize data analysis skills for HR analytics to inform strategic planning; develop presentations for senior leadership on workforce metrics. Lead team leadership efforts by managing human resources teams effectively while promoting change management practices. Qualifications Extensive experience in human resources management with a focus on strategic planning and organizational development. Proven supervisory experience leading HR teams within complex organizational structures. Strong negotiation skills coupled with expertise in employment & labor law compliance. Demonstrated proficiency in HR sourcing tools such as UltiPro, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors; familiarity with HRIS systems is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Deep knowledge of talent acquisition strategies including interviewing techniques and recruiting best practices. Experience managing employee relations issues such as conflict resolution and misconduct investigations. Skilled in program management related to training & development initiatives. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high ethical standards. Strong analytical capabilities for data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
