Mitigation Technician

Compensation: • No experience - will start at $17/hour • With experience- pay negotiable based on skillset • Average yearly income $37,000 - $65,000 Benefits Of This Position: • Market-competitive wages with ongoing eligibility for increases and promotions • Learn an industry that will benefit you for years to come • Steady, full-time work - we don't have a "slow" season • Health, dental, and life insurance after 60 days • Cell phone allowance (monthly) • Tool allowance (at 6 months and yearly after that) • Operate company vehicles • Uniforms provided • After-hours bonuses • Profit-sharing bonuses 2x per year • 3% contribution to 401(k) yearly after 1st anniversary • Sam's Club membership • Off-site team events • Summer BBQs • Be part of a team that values each individual's skills and experience Responsibilities: • Deodorize and sanitize indoor space • Tidy up salvageable items and property and safely store them away • Demo and rebuild damaged structural elements, including drywall and plumbing • Perform water mitigation and extraction services • Fix and rebuild the home or business Qualifications: • Physical fitness and stamina is required, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs • High school diploma or GED required • Comfortable with using power and hand tools • Good communication, teamwork, and listening skills • IICRC (inspection cleaning and restoration certification) required, WRT (water damage restoration endorsement) is preferred • MUST live within 50 miles of our office in Auburn Hills • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Great communication, listening, and teamwork skills • Able to participate in our rotational on-call after-hours schedule • Empathy and compassion • Willing to learn new things every day • Able to work in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $37,000 - $65,000+ per year
