Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Representative Building products with a focus on decking, accessories, and hardwood sales. Well-established lumber company seeks an individual for inside sales. We specialize in exotic hardwood decking as well as hardwood lumber and flooring. Job Description Full‑time position, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, and alternating Saturdays 8:00 am‑12:00 pm. Benefits are available after 90 days. Compensation: base of $44,000 plus commission. Leads are supplied. Responsibilities Learn and master the company’s products and operational procedures. Persuasively articulate product benefits to customers relative to their needs via phone. Learn competition to enhance sales success. Proactively create opportunities for new business. Make warm and cold calls to create new sales and identify and pursue up‑sell opportunities. Build relationships to foster repeat business. Work with operations as needed to ensure quality customer service and satisfaction. Requirements Strong organizational skills, with a focus on cleanliness and attention to detail. Responsibility, including consistent punctuality and accountability. Aggressive, competitive, and committed initiative with the ability to close deals and pursue live opportunities. Positive, professional, and team‑oriented attitude. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Effective time management skills. Great interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple relationships. Working knowledge of lumber measurements and basic construction. Phone sales skills. Excellent customer service skills.
