Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation Coordinator

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation Coordinator for a hybrid position with a global financial institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated coordinator to support a Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing the implementation of on-premises infrastructure solutions, with a critical focus on the lifecycle management of aged infrastructure and vulnerability remediation. This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, prioritize, and coordinate vulnerability remediation efforts
• Manage aged infrastructure, technical debt, and support end-of-life and end-of-support transitions
• Focus on infrastructure hardening and risk mitigation
• Lead infrastructure deployment projects, tracking deliverables, timelines, and risks
• Execute infrastructure changes in controlled environments
• Support problem resolution during implementations

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of networking (routing, firewalls, load balancers), computing (bare metal and virtual) and storage (NAS and SAN)
• Experience with Network Security Firewall & Policies
• Background in Service / Solution Delivery and Design Management
• Work directly with engineers in networking, datacentre, and third-party vendors to design and implement solutions

Desired skills:

• Cloud exposure (hybrid infrastructure: AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Automation/scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
• Knowledge of container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• ITIL or infrastructure/architecture certifications

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
