• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary

This is a Cath Lab RN travel contract opportunity at an Acute Care Hospital with 320 staffed beds. The facility is open to local candidates. Neuro skills are highly preferred candidates with neuro experience would alternate between STEMI and neuro call days; candidates with STEMI experience only would be kept on STEMI call only.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical nursing duties in the Cath Lab setting, including STEMI and/or neuro call coverage
• Alternate between STEMI and neuro call days if candidate has neuro skills
• Cover STEMI call exclusively if candidate does not have neuro skills
• Fulfill on-call obligations: 7 days per pay period 2 nights/week (post shift) and 1 weekend per 2 weeks
• Meet weekend requirements (every other weekend, which may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs)
• Adhere to scheduling policies, including submitting RTO at time of submission; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered

Required Skills

• EPIC electronic health records experience (required)
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements: 7 days per pay period, 2 nights/week post shift, 1 weekend per 2 weeks
• Willingness and availability to work weekends as needed (every other weekend minimum, may exceed to meet unit needs)
• No pending license accepted must hold active, valid RN license at time of submission
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• No first-time travelers accepted

Preferred Skills

• Neuro skills highly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience preferred (1.5 years is the hard stop minimum)

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required (pending license not accepted)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of Cath Lab RN experience (hard stop candidates with less will not be considered)
• 2 years of experience preferred
• No first-time travelers prior travel nursing experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Charting System: Meditech
• Parking: Free
• Scrub Color for RN: Royal Blue
• On-call required: Yes 2 nights/week (post shift) and 1 weekend per 2 weeks (7 days per pay period)
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend; may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Block schedule: Per manager discretion
• Guaranteed hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
• Orientation: All hours billable for preferred profiles
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required

• No first-time travelers this is a hard stop; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Minimum 1.5 years of Cath Lab RN experience is a hard stop candidates with less experience will be redirected and not considered
• Pending license not accepted candidate must hold an active RN license at time of submission

• Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
