We are a real estate management company specializing in commercial and industrial properties. We are looking for an accounting clerk who is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable dealing with people
Responsibilities
· Accounts receivable & accounts payable accounting functions.
· Post payments, Enter invoices and other receipts accurately and timely.
· Prepare and send tenant statements and invoices.
· Email & verbal follow up with tenants regarding outstanding balances and past-due accounts.
· Reconcile accounts and assist with bank and other account reconciliations.
· Work with property managers and other staff to resolve tenant billing and payment issues.
Qualifications
· Accounting experience is preferred, but we will consider a motivated candidate with appropriate schooling and strong computer skills.
· Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
