What You Will Experience

• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Engage in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, provide training for new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within a year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
