Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others, in accordance with established protocols.
• Examine test results for both precision and reliability, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples appropriately for testing as required.
• Accurately document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification for the duration of your employment.
