Rooster Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Registered Nurse to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in Bennington, VT as a Night Shift Unit Manager for a Subacute / High-Dependency Unit.

This is an outstanding leadership opportunity for an experienced RN Registered Nurse who enjoys working overnight while leading a clinical team and ensuring exceptional resident care. As the Night Shift Unit Manager, you will oversee unit operations during the overnight hours, support nursing staff, respond to clinical needs, and help maintain the highest standards of patient care.

RN Job Requirements

• Active RN License (Reciprocity assistance available)

• Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience

• Previous leadership or management experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to lead, motivate, and support overnight nursing staff

• Experience managing resident care in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing operations during the night shift

• Ensure residents receive timely, high-quality care throughout the overnight hours

• Provide clinical leadership and support to LPNs and CNAs

• Respond to changes in resident condition and emergency situations

• Complete overnight assessments, documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and physician communications as needed

• Maintain continuity of care between day and night shift teams

• Promote a positive, collaborative work environment while maintaining high standards of care as an RN Registered Nurse
