Principal Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibility of an Account Executive is to build a book of business through the following activities: Prospecting and establishing referral partner relationships with professionals from the real estate and mortgage industry. Working with clients to understand their insurance needs, analyzing options with a large carrier portfolio, and providing a custom solution to mitigate household risk. Licensing, Training, and Position Requirements Goosehead will cover the one‑time cost of all training courses and exam fees to obtain your insurance license. The role is contingent on passing the licensing exam, obtaining the state‑issued license, and successfully completing Goosehead’s training program, which commences on your start date. No prior sales or insurance experience is required; extensive training will be provided in Salesforce.com, the sales process, business development, and more.
