Salary range: $35.34 - $38.83
Monday - Friday with every other weekend rotation
124 bed Skilled nursing facility with short term and long term care

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients to provide accurate respiratory therapies and interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with physicians.

• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies to optimize outcomes.

• Support pipeline-based territory planning and meet defined performance targets.

• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment with strict adherence to safety protocols.

• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team.

• Participate in performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, clinical, and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care and handoffs.

• Identify opportunities for professional development and pursue certifications.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and self-management.

Experience/Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist (RT) with active state license.

• Clinical assessment skills to triage and initiate appropriate therapies.

• Develop and adjust individualized patient treatment plans with physician collaboration.

• Performance-driven mindset with ability to meet pipeline-based targets.

• Compliance with regulatory, clinical, and organizational policies; HIPAA awareness.

• Experience with respiratory equipment setup, calibration, and safety protocols.

• Comprehensive documentation of patient progress and handoffs in EHR systems.

• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and seamless patient transitions.

• Quality improvement participation and data-driven practice enhancements.

• Professional development focus; pursuit of relevant certifications (e.g., specialty areas).

• Patient and family education on respiratory conditions and self-management.

• On-site availability with the ability to handle high-visibility workload and metrics.
