Job Description Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients, and performs related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. Records patient vital signs and medical information. Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing preferred. All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date. License & Certifications Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License required. Basic Life Support required. Experience Minimum of 1 year Acute Care RN experience.
