Job Summary We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you'll play a crucial role in managing our inventory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Oversee the physical processing of all inventories, including receiving, stocking, transferring, organizing, counting, research and detailed discrepancy reporting. Operational Efficiency: Retrieve necessary stock to expedite orders efficiently, addressing any issues promptly to minimize delays. Quality Assurance: Investigate Block List & Hold List occurrences, collaborating with warehouse personnel to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth operations. Accuracy Maintenance: Ensure accuracy in inventory counts through diligent digital and physical counting processes. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective measures to maintain inventory integrity. Returned Merchandise Management: Inspect returned merchandise, facilitating appropriate processing and disposition. Transaction Management: Handle processing and posting receiving transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Logistics Coordination: Facilitate outgoing freight shipments as necessary, ensuring timely processing and delivery. Database Management: Update databases within incoming and outgoing product information across multiple warehouses to maintain accurate records. Shipping and Receiving: Safely unload and receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness. Qualifications 2+ years of inventory experience. Intermediate computer proficiency. Physical Capability: Lift and move objects 10-50 lbs, team lift objects over 100 lbs; stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders. Skilled in operating warehouse equipment like hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
