The internship experience includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, and informative learning sessions with key leaders.It is designed to provide undergraduate students with an experiential overview of the applicable team within Global Operations and how they support developing, executing and supporting a streamlined approach to each of their individual businesses and the enterprise as a whole. The program incorporates real-world scenarios and experiences to help prepare you for a rewarding career at Wells Fargo.The competitive internship program targets exceptional juniors and is a pipeline program where successful interns may receive an offer to return the following year to join the full-time Analyst Program.Program Date: Summer 2027. 40 hour work week. Daily working hours based on business need.Program Locations:Charlotte, NCDes Moines, IADallas Metro, TXMinneapolis, MNPhoenix Metro, AZSan Antonio, TX*Locations subject to change and contingent on business needsPay Range:Charlotte, NC: $34.62 - $34.62/HourDes Moines, IA: $34.62 - $34.62/HourDallas Metro, TX: $34.62 - $34.62/HourMinneapolis, MN: $37.99-$37.99/HourPhoenix Metro, AZ: $34.62 - $34.62/HourSan Antonio, TX: $34.62 - $34.62/HourIn this role, you will:Participate in formal early talent program and workshop initiatives.Review various assignments to become familiar with policies and procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables.Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of requirements for the supported area.Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.Take part in a range of team projects, tasks, and activities to expose you to various Wells Fargo businesses, supporting execution of strategic priorities and reporting.Work in various Microsoft products to create communication, gather data and story tell on outcomes, and organize priorities.Develop partnerships, consulting, regulatory focus, risk assessment, data analytics, and other key competencies through classroom and on-the-job training.Engage in experiential learning on fundamentals of financial services.Contribute to process improvement, process enhancement, process mapping, automation and operational efficiency programs and projects.Partner alongside various Operations teams on daily functions and responsibilities.Take part in non-business-related stretch assignments, i.e., DE&I, employee engagement, community service, etc.Maintain contact with leaders at all levels of the organization including senior management, team members, individual contributors, and/or vendors.Create presentations, and visuals to assist with documenting business requirements.Complete assigned projects / tasks and prepare for relevant industry certifications as part of professional development.Required Qualifications:6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in the following majors: Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Technology, Communication, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Physics, Political Science, Pre-law, Government, Policy and Management, Computer Science, Management and Risk Management or related business field with an expected graduation in December 2027– June 2028Experience using Microsoft Office suite of productsData analytics experience in SQL, PowerBI, JIRA, SharePoint, Tableau, and Agile methodologyDemonstrated business acumen and business analysis skills, with a commitment to providing excellent service by identifying operational needs, evaluating business processes, and contributing to solutions that drive meaningful client and business impact.Demonstrated ability to execute with a bias for action by supporting process and project delivery, contributing to day-to-day operations, and driving operational excellence through strong process management and an enterprise mindset.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats, build strong working relationships, foster an inclusive work environment, and actively seek and apply feedback to support collaboration and successful program execution.Demonstrated business acumen and business analysis skills, with a commitment to providing excellent service by identifying operational needs, supporting process improvements, and contributing to solutions that drive meaningful client and business impact.Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and sound judgment by applying risk management principles, identifying and escalating operational risks, and supporting well-controlled, compliant operations in a dynamic business environment.Familiarity with AI?powered productivity tools (such as chat?based assistants and built?in features like Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday tasks including research, organizing information, and creating presentations with a strong interest in learning and using these tools responsibly.Job ExpectationsAbility to travel 5% or more of the timeWells Fargo will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.Based on the volume of applications received, this job posting may be removed prior to the indicated close date.
