Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Details:

• Multiple Sign Language Interpreter roles available, all ONSITE.
• Choose from assignments serving high school students (Grades 9-12, August 10, 2026 – May 20, 2027) in Grayslake, or elementary/middle school students (K-8, August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027) in Vernon Hills.
• Full-time workweeks of 35 hours, Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
• Support manageable caseloads: HS caseload of 12 students (1-3 per class) or K-8 caseload of 30 students (1-5 per class).

Qualifications:

• Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or above (documentation required—screenshot must be provided).
• Experience interpreting for school-aged students preferred.
• Proficient in American Sign Language.
• Comfortable working onsite in dynamic school environments.
• Ability to specify interest in either K-8 or 9-12 assignment.
