Technical Warehouse Associate

Suwanee, GA. ONSITE. We are currently seeking a mature, self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, teachable spirit, and a high level of attention to detail for our Technical Warehouse Associate role. The candidate should have a warehousing background with 5 years minimum experience. Mechanical aptitude and desire for hands-on learning required. Verbal and written communication skills. This is a full-time salaried position with a health benefits and life insurance policy package included. Income range starts at $18-$20 per hour which is paid as a 40 hour work week salaried position. Bonus program available for eligible employees (must be employed for 6 months minimum). Paid vacation time includes 16 PTO days as well as business closures on major holidays.

Responsibilities

SHIPPING:
• Assist delivery drivers in unloading and notating material received, including notation of any damage
at time of delivery
• Assist in packing of both small carton shipments as well as LTL shipments, including labeling of
material for customer receiving departments, palletizing, wrapping and strapping of material for secure
shipment.
• Process shipping paperwork through both UPS Worldship and various LTL carriers
• Assist in getting material loaded with the shipping carriers
RECEIVING:
• Assist delivery drivers in unloading and notating material received, including notation of any damage
at time of delivery.
• Processing custom order-specific material received including quality control check, system
documentation for completion and any reporting of any material discrepancies discovered during QC check.
• Providing Exceptions Coordinator with specifics on material discrepancies.
• Organizing and maintaining spare “local” parts used for material discrepancy resolutions.
STOCK MANAGEMENT:
• Perform physical inventory as needed as a part of team.
• Assist with receipt and QC of all stock material when needed.
• Assist with placing stock in appropriate bin location on stock shelves
• Assist with pulling of stock material for order processing

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
