Title
Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule
Shift: 5 x 8-hour days (day shift)

Requirements
- Texas PT license
- BLS certification
- Preferred: 2 years of acute care experience (note: internal field indicates 1 year)
- Travel experience: Preferred (internal field indicates required)
- Core clinical skills:
- Acute care and inpatient rehabilitation
- Post-op ortho care (hip, knee, shoulder, spine)
- Neuro rehab: stroke, TBI, SCI, Parkinson's disease, MS
- Body mechanics, home exercise programs, patient/family education
- Charting system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients in acute care settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation procedures and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies.
