Payroll Administrator (Temp-to-Hire | Onsite) Compensation: $30-$33/hr Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday About the Opportunity A stable, long-standing organization is seeking a Payroll Administrator with leadership potential to join their team. This is a hands-on role with clear growth opportunity into a supervisory position due to an upcoming retirement, making it ideal for someone ready to step up into more responsibility over time. What You'll Do Process full‑cycle payroll for a multi‑entity workforce (200+ employees) Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, and adjustments Handle garnishments, deductions, and compliance‑related payroll tasks Support employee setup and data maintenance across payroll and ERP systems Partner with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll reporting Assist in streamlining payroll processes and supporting system improvements What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands‑on payroll processing experience Experience supporting payroll for 150‑200+ employees Exposure to garnishments, deductions, and multi‑state compliance Experience with ADP WorkforceNow or similar payroll systems Familiarity with ERP systems (any exposure to employee setup is a plus) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, deadline‑driven environment Desire and ability to grow into a lead or supervisory role Why This Role Stands Out Clear path to supervision/lead role in the near term Stable organization with strong tenure across the team Opportunity to take ownership of payroll processes and improve efficiencies Hands‑on environment with visibility to leadership Long‑term potential through temp‑to‑hire structure Ideal Candidate This role is ideal for a mid‑level Payroll Administrator ready to step into a senior/lead track , or someone already operating at a senior level who wants a clear path into management .
