Lab Technical Coordinator (Core Lab)

Full-Time Lab Technical Coordinator – Core Lab at Missouri Baptist Medical (MBMC) Position Details Day Shift: Monday thru Friday (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM), no weekends or holidays. Coordinate daily workflow in the Core Lab with emphasis on hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and Cancer Center – answer questions and provide support as needed. Assist with regulatory compliance: ensure maintenance logs are signed off, daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance and quality control tasks are completed and QC reviewed. Assist with new lot conversions in coagulation and build and maintain new lots of QC in the Laboratory Information System (LIS). Assist with long‑term projects such as instrument validations and process improvements. MT/MLS (ASCP) Certified. Experience and Qualifications At least 2 years of generalist hospital laboratory experience (preferred). Experience in departmental projects, committees, or process‑improvement events. Comfortable with Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and critical‑thinking/problem‑solving ability. Relevant experience as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) would make you a good fit. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Physical or Life Sciences or a related field. MT/MLS – ASCP or equivalent certification. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
