Our independently owned Farmers Insurance agency is looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, knows how to build trust, and isn't afraid to ask for the sale.

This isn't a position where you'll spend your day waiting for the phone to ring. You'll be actively reaching out to prospective customers, uncovering opportunities, recommending coverage, and helping grow a business.

To be considered, applicants must have previous sales experience or a demonstrated history of meeting measurable performance goals.

You'll be responsible for:

• Starting conversations that lead to sales. Connect with prospective customers through outbound calls, incoming leads, referrals, and community outreach.

• Turning interest into action. Learn what matters to each customer, identify coverage needs, present solutions, and confidently ask for their business.

• Building your pipeline. Keep prospective customers engaged through consistent, purposeful follow-up.

• Finding additional opportunities. Recommend appropriate Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial Insurance products based on customer needs and licensing.

• Working toward clear goals. Take ownership of your sales activity, production numbers, and individual performance.

• Creating relationships that last. Provide knowledgeable service that encourages customers to stay connected with the agency.

• Keeping yourself organized. Use agency systems and CRM tools to manage leads, document conversations, and track opportunities.

• Getting better every day. Participate in training, learn new products, sharpen your sales approach, and apply feedback.

This is an active sales environment. Prospecting, outbound calls, follow-up, and closing business are essential parts of the position.

We're not looking for someone with a perfect résumé. We're looking for someone who knows how to put in the work and produce results.

Additional qualifications:

• Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred.

• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Experience in retail sales, automotive sales, telecommunications, financial services, business development, or other goal-oriented industries can translate well into this opportunity.
