Carvel Route Sales Representative (Sarasota, FL)

Purpose Statement As a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts. Route Sales Delivery Drivers are full‑time positions responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high‑quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel Truck. Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service, and in‑store merchandising execution. Hours of work vary by assigned route. The route start time may begin as early as 3 a.m. and average 10–12 stops a day. Must be able to work Saturdays during peak season. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first Minimum 21 years of age Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Must be able to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods up to 50 pounds High school diploma or GED equivalent CDL‑B permit preferred prior to start; fee reimbursed 30 days after start upon obtaining license (or company will assist in obtaining) Previous DSD (direct store delivery) experience is a bonus Compensation In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on experience, skills, shift differential, and location.
