Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)Akron, Ohio - JOB 26-00583 Pay Range: $25.00 - $32.00/HRFull-time permanent position with benefits. 3rd shift: 11pm-7am. The Maintenance Technician's key responsibility will be to maintain and repair the facility and production equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of machine controllers. Troubleshooting molding machine auxiliary equipment issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociates Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred OR 5 years' experience in Industrial MaintenanceExperience with blow molding equipment desired but not requiredMust be proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drawingsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and machine manualsMust have good math skillsProcess knowledge of PLC'sMust have experience/knowledge with methods, practices, tools and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and machinery.Must have working knowledge of plastic molding machine operations.Able to operate common types of machine shop equipmentMust have good mechanical aptitudeMust have good communication skills (written & verbal)Must be able to lift up to 60lbsMust be able to climb ladders, equipment and steep stairsMust be able at times to work outdoors in a variety of temperaturesCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
