Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN - Telemetry/Stepdown nurse for a 32-bed Intermediate Care Unit requiring 1+ years of progressive care experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

32-bed Intermediate Care Unit within a hospital setting
Manages drips and more acute progressive/intermediate care patients
Night shift, 1900-0730, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
Weekend shifts required
On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
May be required to float to other departments based on business need
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active RN License - Single State, Compact, or CO license required
BLS (AHA) certification required
ACLS (AHA) certification required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
ASN required; BSN preferred
Certifications must not expire prior to start date

Additional Information

Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients
Performs health teaching, counseling, and monitors therapy/treatment plans
Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
