The Spine and Joint Rehab Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Rochester, New York. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in empowering patients to regain their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care through comprehensive evaluation, clinical expertise, and personalized treatment plans tailored to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.

Located in the heart of Rochester, the Spine and Joint Rehab Center operates a state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot facility dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on being a PT-owned private practice that predominantly serves patients with private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two exceptional physical therapists and a licensed physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing highly personalized care that makes a tangible difference in our patients' lives. Work Environment

This position requires working onsite in our cutting-edge rehabilitation center, ensuring close interaction with patients and team members. Our facility is designed for optimal patient experiences, equipped with advanced resources to support rehabilitation efforts. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that fosters professional development and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs, goals, and habits, establishing a foundation for individualized treatment.
• Manage a manageable caseload with a focus on one patient per hour to ensure the delivery of high-quality, focused care.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that encompass a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and tailored exercise protocols aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering adherence to prescribed rehabilitation programs while promoting long-term health and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to deliver cohesive and integrated patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment outcomes, making data-driven adjustments to enhance effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Contribute to educational initiatives by providing patients and their families with guidance on wellness strategies and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. We focus on cost-effective treatment alternatives that prioritize functional improvements and aim to reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions. Your role will be integral in helping patients restore motion, strength, flexibility, and overall functional ability, equipping them for a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no previous board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, alongside exceptional skill in developing exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, with specific experience in WebPT being advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Expertise in delivering hands-on therapies and implementing evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
