Our client is a well-established regional insurance defense firm seeking multiple Associate Attorneys to join its team in King of Prussia or Bethlehem, Pennsylvania . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2 - 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense , who is looking to independently manage an established caseload, gain hands-on litigation experience, and work in a flexible hybrid environment with opportunities for mentorship, first-chair trial experience, and long-term professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an assigned insurance defense caseload.

• Handle personal injury defense matters from inception through resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.

• Conduct depositions, mediations , hearings, and court appearances.

• Manage litigation deadlines and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.

• Meet the firm's annual billable hour requirement.

• Take over an existing caseload and work closely with the litigation team.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required.

• 2-3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.

• Experience handling personal injury defense matters.

• Experience with automobile liability, third-party liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party claims is highly preferred.

• Ability to independently manage a caseload.

• Prior experience tracking billable hours in a law firm environment.

• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work schedule (typically 2 days per week in the office).

• Office locations in King of Prussia and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

• Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania and be licensed in the state.

• Occasional in-state travel for court appearances, with mileage and tolls reimbursed.

• Annual billable requirement: 2,000 hours.

• Immediate hiring need with existing caseloads ready to transition.

Salary:

$100,000-$150,000 , with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
