Insurance Defense Attorney

Role Description We are looking for a full-time insurance defense lawyer who has handled personal injury cases previously. The role will begin as hybrid and will be able to be remote after the candidate is up to speed. Responsibilities Represent clients including major insurance companies and their insureds in various types of auto accident suits, including UM and UIM claims. Handle claims independently from initial assignment through trial. File pleadings, take depositions, handle discovery and motions. Litigate cases at Arbitration, ADR, and trial. Interact with claims professionals and comply with their reporting requirements. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Membership in good standing with the state bar association. Experience in insurance defense, handling a caseload of insurance defense files. Expertise in defense of auto cases. Skills in providing legal advice and conducting legal research. Proficiency in negotiation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment. Benefits Salary from $110K - $160K+ depending on experience. Medical, Dental, 401K match.
