You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and Technical Product Owners (TPOs) to drive successful project deliveryDevelop strong AI applications that are used across clinical platform teams Lead a team of AI engineers to deliver cutting edge AI/LLM modelsProvide leadership in software development, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needsTake ownership of operational support, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues efficientlyActively participate in all deployment activities, ensuring smooth releases and minimizing downtimeLead and mentor development teams, fostering best practices in software engineering and agile deliveryDrive end-to-end delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and align with organizational goals You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of leading multiple teamsIndustry Knowledge: 5+ years of experience in clinical or healthcare-related projects1+ years of AI experience, working on developing AI/LLM modelsExperience with leading AI teams in pastTechnical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Camunda, PostgreSQL, React, Kafka, and ElasticsearchPreferred Qualification:Leadership & Collaboration: Strong ability to work with business stakeholders and end users to translate requirements into technical solutionsCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical teams and business partners*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
