divh2Maintenance Technician II/h2pCadrex is searching for a Maintenance Technician II to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, facility equipment, and physical structures according to safety and preventive maintenance systems and processes./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliPerform highly diversified duties in maintaining production machines and the plant facilitys equipment/liliDevelop work instructions for production and facilitys equipment helping to build a preventive maintenance system/liliUse a variety of hand and power tools and electric multimeters/liliAbility to use computers proficiently/liliPerform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment, machines, and facilities/liliInstalls new production machinery and equipment/liliVisually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions/liliDiagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjusts/liliDetects faulty operations, defective materials or/or equipment and reports as required/liliDismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area/liliInspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems/liliProvides emergency service and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to production equipment during machine service/liliStarts machines and equipment to test operation following repair/liliRepairs broken parts, replaces defective parts and motors, belts, and adjusts feed mechanisms/liliConnects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape/liliPerforms regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment/liliPatches or replaces plaster/plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of buildings/liliMay be required to use personal vehicle at times for work assignments/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulli3+ years experience may be substituted in lieu of degree/liliDemonstrated electronics knowledge and variety of hand tools, ability to understand mechanical processes, possess electronics knowledge, and possess a basic knowledge of hydraulics/liliPrevious experience in a machine shop performing maintenance mechanic duties preferred/liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals/liliAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance and/or repair instructions and manuals, and procedure manuals/liliDemonstrated ability to read electrical schematics/li/ulh3Education/h3ulliAssociate/Technical degree in related field preferred./li/ulh3Location/h3ulliOnsite/li/ulh3Schedule/h3ulliM-Th; 4:15pm - 2:45am/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
