Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center environment with 9 OR suites and 3 procedure rooms
• Serve as scrub or circulating RN maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio in the OR across a broad case mix including ophthalmology, orthopedics/sports medicine, GYN/urology, plastics, general surgery, and pediatrics
• Utilize facility equipment including Stryker, Steris, and Smith & Nephew systems and document care using Cerner Surginet EMR
• Participate in late call rotation approximately 2 times per week, remaining until the last case is completed (C1), with C2 backup coverage as assigned
• Float to additional surgical areas at the main campus as needed, including main OR, vascular OR, and endoscopy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of surgical/OR experience including a relevant case mix (ophthalmology, orthopedics, GYN/urology, plastics, general, and/or pediatrics)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner Surginet or comparable OR-specific EMR
• Ability to adapt to a close-knit, team-oriented environment and maintain a professional, engaged demeanor

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Greater than 1 year of experience in an ambulatory surgery center setting
• CNOR certification
• Experience with a broad range of procedures including cataracts, retina procedures, knee/shoulder arthroscopy, hysteroscopy, pediatric dental, and reconstructive cases
