Chemical Warehouse AssociateLocation: Newark, DEType: ContractHours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmResponsibilitiesAccurately fulfill client weigh order requests by measuring and weighing chemical compounds according to work instructions.Perform tare, weight capture, and gross weighing for production orders.Verify compounds match order requirements prior to weighing.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Daily Assessment Sheet instructions.Confirm glove boxes are properly charged with nitrogen before weighing operations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and disposing of waste.Restock supplies and maintain inventory of materials as needed.Assist with labeling and packaging of materials and finished products.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous experience using precision scales (0.00001g to 120g) is preferred.Prior warehouse, laboratory, manufacturing, or distribution experience is a plus.Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and chemical handling is preferred.Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including lab coat, gloves, and face mask.Must have close visual acuity to accurately perform weighing and inspection activities.
